Thank you very much for taking care of Ross during his trip to Davao and climb to Apo. Thank you as well for the hassle-free process of arranging the entire trip. Ross really enjoyed himself and I'm sure he'll be back again soon... maybe next time I'll head on over as well. 🙂

Keep up the great work! Definitely recommending you to friends and family who are keen on visiting Apo.

Guides were superb. Trip was tailor-made for my friends. Some were at edge of not making the top, but all made it. All are happy they made the top and back. Thanks!

"Thanks, Discover Mt. Apo Team! I could say was my very first major climb to a summit. Your guys were very professional. The experience was fantastic and the guides helped to top it off by making sure everybody stayed on track. I think if I'll ever take some friends on a major climb, I'll consider Mt. Apo and this team will be top of the list."

I heard Allan arranges trips to Mount Apo through a friend and contacted him. Allan was very prompt with responses and flexible with dates. He arranged a meeting to go over any questions I had. He provided us with a full list of things we would need. He arranged everything from transport, to guides, to porters. The trip would not be possible without guides and porters as there is no clearly discernable route. Whilst walking he took care that everyone was ok and porters could go slower with those who were struggling. He was always conscious of whether we had enough food and drink and we felt completely safe while we were trekking. I would recommend this trip to anyone as it was a fantastic few days. The price is extremely good value.

Trekking Mount Apo - Mount Apo stands tall as the chief mountain in The Philippines. With its panoramic view and distinct scenery, Mount Apo features an assemblage of diverse landscapes- bounteous fauna, flora and rocks, lakes, a massive forest, a volcanic crater and a basin of sulphur deposits.
We began our climb Friday morning and completed our trek Saturdayevening. The trail begins with an uphill terrain of farmlands, composing of small communities, followed by a tropical forest. After passing through the dense vegetation and streams, you reach the base camp- Camp Goody Goody- after which the steep mountainous portion of the trek begins, where sulphur vents can be found beside a dormant volcanic crater. This segment of the trail gets technical since one has to use both their hands and feet to navigate the rocky, boulder terrain.

Allan and his porters provided outstanding service even before the trek commenced and right till the end, accommodating our needs and prepping us for the trip with useful guidance and advice.
Despite the rain and strong winds pelting us during the summit climb, it was entertaining with Allan and his team around, cheerful, lively and continually engaging. Meal time at base campwas reminiscent of a gathering of friends, hospitable in equal proportions, and one of the highlights of the day. “Eat more! Have a bit more,” one of the porters always said. One of the guides, with his trusty camera, also took innumerable impromptu and posed shots of us duringour expedition.

If you are in Davao, then this truly is an imperative activity. The sense of triumph and accomplishment you get when you reach the summit is beyond doubt remarkable. The spectacle, the nature and the wondrous surroundings - all in one hike to Mt. Apo! The porters were also the true unsung heroes in our climb. Thank you for this splendid experience of a lifetime!

About Mt.Apo. It is really hard at the beginning.I was so tired thatwanted to give up.But the beautiful scenery made me keep walking. At the first day, we were walking in the tropical forest, there had some streams and a lot of flowers. And the second day,we climbed on the rock.COOL!!!!When I reached the top of the mountain, I feel that all the hard work is worth .Fortunately,at the third day ,I rode a horse down.EXCITING!!!!!Thanks to the encouragement of all the people in the Mt.Apo team .Especially the Trek guide Allan and Porter Longlong,if without you I would not hang on!!!!This is really a memorable experience.I will never forget this trip.

Thank you will never be enough to show how grateful I am with the #TeamDMA staff on my first major climb experience. The journey was exhilarating but all the while, the guides were pleasant and accommodating. Anyway, I am highly recommending #TeamDMA!!!
